How did it all start?
Where did the original “Kidzola” come from? Who came up with the crazy idea to allow people to post free classified ads to sell their children’s used items on a web site? Simple answer: Two mothers with too much clutter in their homes from baby gear, clothing, toys, games and books their kids had outgrown. So, at a college reunion, two former college suite mates decided they were done with the clutter! Slowly realizing that other moms probably felt the same way – a light bulb went off.

Why & How has it grown into Kidzola 2.0?
The original concept was a good one, but feedback from customers told the team Kidzola needed to be improved. So, Kidzola listened! Now customers can come to Kidzola and see a newly designed website, where people can open up a store and sell a plethora of items, or join for free and sell a few items at a time. It's not just a place for people to sell the "kid clutter" that can take over a home, but also handmade products and brand new items. Which means, customers can buy not just re-sale items, but also handmade and brand new products. Kidzola 2.0 is a combination of old, new and handmade, too! (We know, we're cheesy. But we're all Moms....we're allowed.)

The Founders Our fearless mompreneurs met one another at college (we won't say how many years ago, because a lady NEVER reveals her age). They were roommates and managed to stay friends well after college ended. Roommates who stayed friends? I know, we thought the same thing - UNHEARD OF. Women sharing one bathroom never ends well, so you can imagine our surprise to find out our mompreneurs actually made it through the whole experience and WANTED to start a business together. Of course, if two women can survive life in a dorm with one bathroom, starting a business is child's play!
Over in Pennsylvania, we have Lisa. A former Systems Engineer with a mind for numbers, computers and all things considered BACK END in the website world! Being the mother of 2 kids, one girl and one boy, she wandered around her house and realized how much clutter there was from things her kids just did not want anymore. They had outgrown so much stuff, enough for 20 kids! Except for the skiing and camping gear - that stuff was not clutter, but tools for their favorite activities to do together as a family! Amazingly, pretty much around the same time, another mother, Lisa's former college roommate in Ohio was doing the same thing...
Heather was thinking, "two kids and all this stuff...we just don't need it all anymore and the clutter is taking over my closets, attic and garage." Being the mother of 2 very active children - always at hockey, baseball, dance and gymnastics - and the wife to a husband who loves to take everyone fishing and for bike rides, there was this feeling that her life just wasn't hectic enough so why not add running a brand new company into the mix!

Following their initial chat at that fateful college reunion, many discussions were had with other parents to find out if this was a crazy idea: a good resale WEBSITE for kids' things. Turned out - it wasn't so crazy.
Both Lisa and Heather are first time entrepreneurs and are always learning, growing and most importantly, excited about their work and their amazing team! Their experiences have exceeded all expectations and every day is a new adventure they hope to share with everyone passionate about clutter detoxification!

Their loyal customers, store owners and employees are the reasons why Kidzola 2.0 is here. The whole team gets to rejoice in helping everyone who's passionate about removing clutter from their lives, but also for all those who want to save money, get a great deal, buy and sell handmade goodies and of course, for Moms and Dads who want to open up a legitimate business online - where else can you get such a great opportunity to own a store on the internet just to sell kids items? That's right, Kidzola 2.0 is where the passionate people Buy. Sell. Everything for children!
