What can I sell?

You can sell anything related to kids, whether it’s new, handmade or resale. If you don’t find a category for something you’d like to sell, let us know and we’ll help you out.


What does it cost to sell something?

It is free to list your item for sale. But if it sells, Kidzola will charge 5% of the selling price to your credit card on file. We bill all of your selling fees once a month. If your item does not sell, you are not charged anything.


Why should I open a Kidzola store?

Kidzola stores offer many benefits to the serious and casual seller. Besides being F-R-E-E, here are a few reasons to set up a store:

  1. More Exposure: Shoppers can find all of your listings on the “Stores” page. If you don’t have a store, you’ll be missing key exposure.
  2. Build Customer Loyalty: If you have a store, repeat customers can easily find you again.
  3. Your Own Web Page: Your direct shop URL is www.kidzola.com.com/YourStoreName. You can share your web page so others can buy directly from your Kidzola store.
  4. It's There When You Need It: Even if you only sell things on a seasonal or casual basis, your store will always be there when you need it. If you don't have anything listed for sale, your store won't show up on the stores page. Not to worry! It is still set up on your account and will re-appear on the Stores page the next time you list more items for sale.

How can I get more exposure for my listing?

You have three options to spotlight your inventory:

  1. Feature your listing in Kidzola’s homepage gallery: $4.99/month.
    Homepage listings are rotated randomly and are seen by everyone who comes to Kidzola.
  2. Feature your listing at the top of its category: $3.99/month.
    Your listing will display at the top of its category and be seen first by shoppers browsing that category.
  3. Sponsor a giveaway: FREE (You just supply the prize and ship it to the winner).
    Giveaway sponsors are featured in our e-newsletter that goes out to 5,000+ subscribers. Your giveaway will also appear on the Kidzola Giveaways page for the entire entry period. If you would like to sponsor a giveaway, please let us know.

 
How can I increase my sales?

  1. Keep in touch with customers: Reach out to your customers when you add new inventory or offer a sale. If you keep good records of your customers and what they purchased, you can easily e-mail them when you have new or sale items they may be interested in.
  2. Take great pictures: A picture’s worth a thousand words and a great photo is your best sales tool. Shoppers base much of their buying decision on the photograph, so make sure you showcase your items in their best light. Extra pictures are free at Kidzola, so feel free to take multiple pictures and show your items from various angles and highlighting special details.
  3. Keep your Kidzola shop full of inventory so shoppers have a good selection when they visit your store. List new products often so your visitors have a reason to keep coming back.
  4. Feature your listings on the homepage gallery, at the top of a category or sponsor a giveaway to make your products more visible to the entire Kidzola community.
  5. Be good to your customers. Remember that their opinion of you counts towards your feedback rating. Great customer feedback and comments helps instill confidence from new shoppers.

 
How can I make even more money selling at Kidzola?

Sign up to be an Affiliate. When you promote your own Kidzola store, you’ll get credit for everyone who follows your link to Kidzola. Then you can earn a percentage of everything those shoppers spend, whether they’re buying from you, buying from someone else or selling their own things. How long will my listing run?

All Kidzola listings run for 30 days or until they sell or you remove them. If you want your listing to auto-renew, you can set it to renew up to 12 times to show for a full year. This saves you from having to re-list your items each month. As your ad renews, it will rotate back to the top of the ad listings with the newest items that have just been listed.


How will I know if my item sells?

You will receive an e-mail from Kidzola notifying you of the sale. Your e-mail will have a link for you to contact the buyer in case you have questions about shipping the order. You will also receive a deposit in your PayPal account.
